The Animated Knots by Grog website has been on the net since at least March 9, 2005, and functional by October 18, 2005. Since that time it has been one of the most useful, informative, and authoritative websites on knot tying ever created. They’ve created categories of knots useful for climbing, boating, fishing, scouting, search & rescue, household, arborist, farming, neckties, decorative, and surgical. Additionally, there’s info about rope care. An AW favorite since 2009!
